Happy May!
Wow! It's already May 6. Six more full weeks
of school to go and we're still working hard getting last-minute
projects started and hopefully finished.
We've begun an end-of-the-year
research project about Washington. We've all chosen topics and
reviewed some basics about gathering information and organizating
reports. We'll continue to make this project a class learning
activity.
We also will be studying Totem Poles and the tradition surrounding
them. We'll make our own.
Our May 27 field trip to Blake Island is rapidly approaching. We
have about 10 kids who haven't turned in permission slips. Our
chaperone list is at 4. One more and we're full.
