Language Arts Website.
In our Civil War unit for social
studies,we are looking at the events that happened during the Civil
War and famous speeches/proclamations during this time period.
In language arts, we
are working on a group activity,
United
We Stand, as part of our springboard
lessons. With this lesson we are looking at civil conflicts and
methods of persuasion. During this activity, the kids will be
working on small subcommittee to prepare a presentation to the
United Lander's Council (me) regarding the conflict between the two
lands, Eastland and
Westland.
