7th Grade Social
Studies
This class will incorporate two
different segments throughout the 2009-2010 school year.
We will focus primarily on History through the mIddle ages from
approximately 500 to 1500 AD. We will visit quite a few
cultures around the world hopefully stopping at least once in each
continent to see what was happening during that time period.
We will take a human approach to studying these cultures and really
try to dig into what the people were doing and experiencing.
Factual information and dates are important but it is important to
look at the human experience as well when we discuss history.
You will find the weekly assignments in the Homework section of this site. I will try to
leave a few weeks up in case you miss something from the previous
week.
