Past Assignments
Absent students
are responsible for doing all class work on their own time. All
SpringBoard pages are available to download in the "Documents"
section of this website.
When you go to Parent Connect and see a message
"Missing Assignment" for your child,
you can locate all assignments listed by date in the "Homework" section of this website.
Compare Parent Connect to the assignments given for a
clearer idea of how your child is doing or what they need to do in
order to get those assignments completed. Late work is accepted but
a student will not receive anything higher then a C grade for late
work.
Missing Assignment
If you see the message "Missing Assignment" in
Parent Connect it is possible that those
assignments have not yet been graded. Students use a portfolio In
SpringBoard to organize their assignments and prepare for the
Embedded Assessments. These portfolios are not collected after each
assignment; they may not be collected for review until there are
several assignments that have been completed. Dates are posted in the "Homework"
section when portfolios are being collected. Once portfolios are collected it takes a few days to get all of
them graded. Check the "Homework" section for
the SpringBoard pages that have been assigned and the due dates for
those assignments.
Email me if you are concerned about the "Missing Assignment" message when you visit
Parent Connect and question whether or not your child
has any missing grades.
Drama Production Class and Drama
Club- 
Each student
enrolled in drama production class is required to participate in
the semesters theatre production at the end of the semester
whether it is as an actor or a part of the stage
crew.
Two weeks
before opening night are our technical rehearsals and dress
rehearsals (tech week). Students are required to participate in
tech week which begins after school during that period. Rehearsals
run from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. There are no activity buses
available so transportation must be arranged ahead of time. Dinner
is provided with the help of parents bringing food each
night.
Parent
volunteers are a very important component to the success of each
theatre production. A parent letter is sent home the first day
of drama production class and drama club students can get them from
Ms Byrnes in room 117. Please take the time to fill this form out
carefully. Drama club students must have a signed parent
letter on file in order to participate in club activities.
