I am excited to be teaching 6th and 7th grade
math this year. When you look on the homework page, make

- I can represent multiplication and division of decimals using
area models and the number line.
- I can multiply and divide decimals by 1000, 100, 10, 1, 0.1,
0.01 and 0.001.
- I can describe the effect of multiplying of dividing a
number by one, zero, by a number between zero and one, and by a
number greater than one.
- I can use a variety of strategies to solve mental computations
with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
