Grading Objectives
Quizzes and Tests = 70% of grade
Assignments = 10% of grade
Work Ethic = 20% of grade
A student’s knowledge of the concept and being able to show
mastery on a quiz and test is basically what the student is being
graded on. In order to do well on quizzes and tests the student
must complete all assignments. Each Assignment receives 2 points if
completed on time, another point for Work Ethic. Assignments go in
as “C” for completed on time; “inc” for
incomplete or “M” for missing. All assignments must be
completed! When Assignments are finally completed, an
“L” will be recorded, which receives 1 point, but no
point for Work Ethic.
C = 2 points
Inc = 1 point
M = 1 point
L = 1 point
Ab = 1 point

Mission Statement
My mission as
a teacher is to remember that each one of my students is
an individual with specific needs. I
will help teach my students how to be accountable
to themselves and others, by taking responsibility for their own
actions. They will be encouraged not to give up, but
to get up when they fall down, and be reminded, that they
can accomplish anything they put their minds to. Upon
leaving my class at the end of the year, my students will be
problem-solvers, will have self-confidence and courage, and use
their motivation to be
life-long-learners.
