We are currently studying Samples & Populations. The main focus of this unit is analyzing data/statistics. We are learning about averages (mean, median, and mode) and determining which average is the best representation of a given data set. We are also studying how surveys are used and the characteristics of a "good" survey. Students are able to retake the Say it with Symbols Unit Test. Review worksheets were distributed Mon., May 18. The review worksheets must be completed before a student will be allowed to retake the test. All SWS Test retakes must be completed by Friday, May 29. Students were given a list of missing tasks on Friday, May 22. They were also given new copies of worksheets they have not completed, as well as copies of books from previous units. I am currently coaching track (half-time) Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I am available to work with students after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please check the website frequently!
