 Evergreen Elementary is an active
place. Students enjoy two recesses each
day, and have two or three P.E. classes per week. They run and play
on grass, packed sand, asphalt, and the floor of the gym. They
hang from the bars, swing, play soccer, shoot baskets, climb the
equipment, and participate in many
games. Students are in constant motion
in P.E. and at recess. They stretch, skip, scoot, jump, roll,
climb, dodge, run, throw, kick, bend, reach, push, and pull as
part of their education.
