I am so lucky to have two positions at Evergreen. I am the
school Speech and Language Pathologist and also the Language
teacher for the school.
The development of speech and language skills is strongly linked to
thinking ability, social relationships, reading and writing, and
school success. Speech involves the use of specific sounds to
create words. Language is the way we combine sounds, words,
and sentences to communicate with and understand others.
In my website I would like to share some of the lessons that I do
to enhance language skills in the classroom and also provide some
ideas and activities for caretakers to do at home with their
children to increase language skills.
