is an exciting time of year for kids, parents and teachers!
This is a time of hopes and dreams for a happy and successful
school year. Below you will find suggestions to help the
first few weeks of school go smoothly. Best Wishes for
a Wonderful school year!
Remember that we are doing what we call a "slow start" to school to
ease our little ones in. You have been assigned to one of two
groups, so check your papers to see which days your child will
come. This works SO well for the beginning of school, because as
you will see, your child will be exhausted from their long day in
the classroom!
On the first day, your child will need a morning snack, a lunch or
lunch money, a backpack and a light jacket or sweater. If you have
purchased school supplies you may bring them in and your child can
sort them into our bins. We pool all the supplies together and
share them, so please explain that these supplies are for the
classroom, not necessarily their own supplies. This also means that
if you have not had a chance to get EVERYTHING on the list, it's no
big deal! You can wait until next month to bring stuff
in!
