Welcome to Speech and Language!
I am currently working with
students at Artondale in Kindergarten through 5th grade who need
special assistance with communication skills. I can also meet
with parents and teachers regarding any communication questions or
concerns for all students.
Students who are eligible for special help
with communication receive services in one or more of the
following areas:
1. Articulation--correct sound
formation skills for effective
communicating
2. Fluency--working for increasing
smoothness
of speech for
communicating
3. Language---understanding
language concepts and using
language
skills necessary for learning within the
classroom setting. This would include content
of
language/vocabulary,
form of language including correct grammar,
and use of
language including social interactions for learning and
throughout
the school day
4. Voice--- using a clear
voice throughout the school day for
communicating
