In Reading we have read, "Swimmy," by Leo Lionni. This is a
wonderful story of how being just one can still help many! We will
also visit a similar themed story called, "Crickwing," by
Jannel Cannon of "Stellaluna"
fame.
Homework is
back on the schedule! Check the Thursday Folder for the yellow
Homework Folder!
Flat Stanley has already traveled to England,California,Arizona,
North Carolina and Korea! He is so happy to visit new places. You
can mail or cyber send Stanley anytime this year! His adventures
are displayed in the hall outside our
classroom!

School to Home Journals and
Little paper reading books.......turn
in on Monday!
School to
Home Journals come home for the weekend each Friday! Please write
on the back of the page your student wrote on. Your message should
be to your child, not me! :)
Little
Reading Books come home on Fridays as well. Please sign your name
on the cover if your child read it out loud to you. If they show it
to me on Monday morning before the bell I will have a small prize
for them!
If
there is ever a book you wish to order after the due date (or
anytime for that matter), I can send them in with free shipping.
Just let me know! I think you can continue to order online and they
will come in the mail to school as well. I am not soliciting
purchases, just want you to
know.
